It's being made, already in its second Alpha build. This one will come to Galaxy S series almost immediately, since it is being based off of Gingerbread on the Nexus S. I will be testing it out today, very soon. Currently extremely unstable on our phones. Wifi crashes the phone, lots of FC's. The port is still in its infancy, bu the original clean Gingerbread port is the same but it WORKS. I flashed it yesterday and it's damn fast.

Might have to consider it if there's a TouchWiz mod for it. Super fast + awesome features will be sweet!

What do you mean TouchWiz mod? I doubt there will be a TouchWiz 2.3 for a LONG time, they need to keep a market for the Nexus S as the only 2.3 phone out there. So we will have to run AOSP for now, but it is slightly improved over Froyo AOSP.

I'll end up flashing it today, it's a dual boot system so you can just have both Perception and CM7

There's no mention of CM7 at XDA or their forums in the Vibrant sections.

We have 2 threads on it. One dedicated to CM7 dual booting, and one dedicated to the Nexus S port, where CM7 /system partition is offered to replace the NS one.

I guess we don't care enough to get it on the Vibrant Tongue

Were getting Alpha 2 tonight, working wifi and all. So I'll flash then. The dual boot system is awesome.
