Got 3 Samsung Spinpoint F3 harddrives and a can of air. My dad got pajamas and socks.

Couldent afford them, I got the F3's instead. They work great so far [knock on wood] and I can hit ALMOST 400mb/s write speeds!

I did, but then I realized that for HD video, SSD's dont have enough space.

OOPS! Fixed.

I know that, but in this case Im looking for speed over space.

Im looking for drives that are fast and reliable and will be very fast in RAID. Im doing some HD capturing and I need the read/write speeds of the RAID to be pretty high.

The caviar blue is the cheapest, but Ive heard that the F3 is the fastest. Im hoping to hear what you guys think.
